The small district of Darjeeling is known all over the world by the famous Darjeeling Tea. Darjeeling recalls the nostalgia of the British Raj. The evergreen hills and valleys offer fantastic views of the Khangchendzonga range. An interesting itinerary is the Cultural Tea Festival Tour. Darjeeling also offers the oldest trekking trail of the region Sandakphu – Phalut circuit from where views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Makalu can be seen.
